BothHeard is a relationship coaching product — created and run by OmniMinds. Your story is sensitive, and we treat it that way. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you have — across our website and our forthcoming mobile apps.
1. Who we are
BothHeard is created and run by OmniMinds ("we," "us"), which is the data controller responsible for your information. You can reach us any time at hello.bothheard@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This policy covers the BothHeard website, the invitation-request form, and the BothHeard mobile and web applications as they become available. Where a specific feature has additional notices (for example, in-app disclosures required by law), those appear alongside the feature.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
- Early-access requests: your name, email address, and the short description of what you'd like to talk to BothHeard about.
- Account and profile: once the app launches, details you provide to create and manage your account.
- Your conversations: what you share with your coach. This lives in your private space and is treated as sensitive personal data.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and usage data (such as app version, general device type, and diagnostic logs) needed to keep the service secure and working.
- We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
4. The consent wall
BothHeard is built around a simple promise: two private rooms, one shared room. What you share privately with your coach stays in your private space. If you invite a partner, they get their own private space. Nothing from your private room is ever revealed to your partner unless you explicitly approve it — and you can revoke that approval at any time. The shared room holds only the copies you've each chosen to share and cannot reach back into either private room.
5. How we use your information
- To provide and personalize your coaching experience.
- To remember your story across sessions so you don't have to repeat yourself (your persistent memory).
- To welcome early members, respond to you, and send service-related messages.
- To keep the service safe, including crisis-detection safeguards.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or use it to target ads.
6. When a human is involved
If BothHeard suggests a licensed counselor, we only share a summary with that professional after both partners have explicitly approved what it contains. You see the briefing before it goes anywhere.
7. Service providers
We rely on a small number of vetted providers (for example, secure cloud hosting and the AI model infrastructure that powers the coach) strictly to run the service. They act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms, and may not use your data for their own purposes.
8. Security
Your conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is tightly restricted, and we design for data minimization. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting this data is core to the product, not an afterthought.
9. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, and the app will include a delete-everything control. Early-access request details are removed when they're no longer needed to run early access, or sooner on request.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we'll help. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. International transfers
BothHeard is offered globally. Where we transfer data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
12. Children
BothHeard is for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
13. Mobile apps
Our iOS and Android apps follow this same policy. Any permissions the app requests (such as notifications) are explained in context, and the app will include the disclosures required by applicable app-store and AI-transparency rules — including a clear statement that BothHeard is an AI coach, not a human and not a therapist.
14. Changes
We'll update this policy as the product grows and will note the date at the top. If changes are significant, we'll let you know.
